A short bio.

Richard was one of the first photographers to move into high-end digital capture with his main motivation being the environment. “Digital photography is so much cleaner, little wasted water and no harmful chemicals”. Richard produced a series of 30 works documenting the glass bottles found in excavating for the Meriton Development in Waterloo. He then went on to produce a series of limited edition prints for Chiswick Development with a water theme.

In 2001 Richard exhibited a series of images using the latest printing technology in partnership with Epson Australia. Judy Saris, Editor of Gourmet Traveler Magazine, opened The Tastebud exhibition at 7 Danks Street, Waterloo. The Gallery and Studio received great publicity and the opening night saw more than 300 people attend.

Richard went on to win the L’otel Best Photographer competition and was asked to exhibit a series of nudes the following year in Darlinghurst.

2005 Easy Digital Poppy Exhibition launched by Turnbull Ossher Design featured large format printing at its best.

2008 Richard launched The Print Room, a working studio gallery where he creates and
exhibits his artwork. His passion is to produce the highest quality printing in the most
environmental friendly way.

Richard is currently exhibiting a series of Australian Native Images at ECC Lighting in Darlinghurst.
